Small Shen – Chapter 2

Happy 2014, everyone! I hope you all had a good time this year, especially the New Year’s parties. I had a super busy month/week – I’ve been writing the eight short horror stories I’m intending to publish in prose and comics-prose format, and I’ve now finished illustrating two, and written five. I’m close to finishing the sixth one in the next few days, so I’m way thrilled by the progress!

Anyway, I’m posting chapters 2-3 of “Small Shen” up, at the same time because I’ve noticed I’ve been a bit slack with my website posts (yikes). I’m also posting this on my DeviantArt and Tumblr accounts.

Anyway, for those who don’t know, this book was published by Harper Voyager in 2012. It was written by Kylie Chan, and adapted/illustrated into ‘comics-prose’ form by me. It’s a prequel to Kylie’s best-selling Chinese fantasy series ‘White Tiger‘, with 19 chapters of 75,000 words total, 9 of which were converted into comics-prose.

You can purchase “Small Shen” here with free International shipping, or buy it as an ebook on Amazon.com.

You can also download the original prose version of the 9 comics-prose chapters, along with the comics-script version of the work.

Small Shen – Chapter 1

Merry Xmas, everyone! In time for Xmas, I’m posting the first 3 chapters of “Small Shen” for people who haven’t read it. I’m also posting this on my DeviantArt and Tumblr accounts, and this is intended to finish as a series on the 10th January.

We Are The Pickwicks – Repost

In case folks missed it, I’m re-posting my 10-page comics-prose story from a while ago. It’s a ‘twisted fairy tale’ take on the story of Peter Pan, and it was originally written for a Peter Pan anthology my friends and I put together.

Here I show it again, for your interest. Next week, meanwhile, I’ll be showing the first 3 chapters of “Small Shen.” I’ll be posting 10 pages every Friday (from 22nd Nov 2013 – 10th Jan 2014) in various places such as on my DeviantArt, Tumblr and my Goodreads Account, so hope you guy who haven’t read the extract will check it out!

Legend of Zelda Fanfiction: The Edge and The Light – Chapter 11

What I’m doing now: My short horror stories are chugging along nicely! I’ve finished “The Man with the Axe in his Back” (23 pages, 4000 words), and I’m close to finishing my novel (It’s going to be around 50,000 words, and darn, I still gotta do lotsa editing). I’m writing these horror stories as a prose story and as a comics-prose story, and right now, I’ve finished the prose version of story 2, “Cassie and Lassie” (3000 words). I’ll post these two stories up here when I’m done, as part of a $5.99 e-book short horror collection. The rest of it will not be posted for free online, though.

Anyway, after Zelda ends, I’ve got a publishing schedule set-up. I’ll be re-posting some of my older work, including “The Dreaming”, and you can see the schedule plan here. My aim is to update every Friday, making it a regular thing, so there’ll be something to read every Friday!

Zelda Fanfiction: Oh my goodness, I can’t believe it’s been a year already. This is the last Zelda chapter, and next week will conclude this story once and for all. I’m afraid I won’t be doing any more fanfiction, since I’ve always done my own original work, so I hope you all had a good time reading this.

This series is still being serialised until November, on DeviantArt, MangaFox, SmackJeeves, Archive Of Our Own, and Tumblr.

Here’s chapter 11 on Tumblr. It’s also on this site, but Tumblr makes it easier to read, so I redirect people there.

For folks who’ve followed this story, thanks so much for your time! This is the end, folks. The Grand Finale. It’s been good while it lasted, and a big high-five to all the Zelda fans who enjoyed this too!
