Greetings, all! As usual, Small Shen has been selling great – thanks to all the people who bought the e-book version on iTunes and Kindle @ $11.99! The sales have been surprisingly strong for that, so thanks to all those folks!

What I’m doing next: “The Dreaming” fans rejoice. When “Zelda:TEATL” finishes its run at the end of October, I’ll be working on a collection of short horror stories called “The Man with the Axe in his Back“. I have a backlist of short horror stories to write/draw, and I’ll be working on that and publishing it as a $5.99 e-book on Smashwords when I’m done. I’ll be posting sneak previews up after October.

I also want to work on series of web articles, titled ‘How to do Comics-Prose.’ It’ll be a primer on how to convert a prose story into comics-prose (aka the format of “Zelda: The Edge and The Light” and also “Small Shen”. It’s in the background a bit while I work on my commissions, but once I’m done, they’ll be up and probably collected into an e-book too for $5.99 on Smashwords.

Zelda Fanfiction: Still on-going, but this is the second-last chapter! Anyway, this series is still being serialised until November, on DeviantArt, MangaFox, SmackJeeves, Archive Of Our Own, and Tumblr. Despite the full e-book having been released, I’m sticking faithfully to my release schedule.

Chapter 10 will starts in 2 week’s time, ending 18th October. Hopefully by then I’ll have finished my first shorty horror story, and it will be up online!

Greetings all! I’ve had a great con season and sold a bunch of hard copies of “The Edge and The Light” fanfiction, something with surprised me – people seemed to make a beeline for it! I also sold out of a bunch of Small Shen books, which has been flying off the shelves. They keep selling out at the online bookstore link, but they’re back now, luckily. Tonnes of people seem to love it!

Zelda Fanfiction: Still on-going, but we’re nearing the home stretch! It’s now onto the last three chapters, and Chapter 9 is the final battle! The one you’ve all been waiting for! Chapter 9 starts ends 2nd August. Hopefully the trailer for chapter 8 and 9 will be done soon. Things have been slow, due to an illness from my musician friend Yunyu, but she’s better now!

Edit: I’ll be at Supanova tomorrow, but I have a bad case of Sinitis/flu so I apologise if you find me slumped over my desk all sick. I also have a panel at 11:50am with Kylie Chan, talking about creating Small Shen, so hope to see you all then!

Appearances: I’ll be at Supanova from the 22-23rd June, and at Melbourne Comic-Con from the 6-7th July! See the side bar for more website details. In Supanova, I’ll be on a panel with Kylie Chan too, so if you want a copy of “Small Shen” signed by the both of us, bring it along on the day (or buy it at the Dymocks stand there).

New stuff: New book pages, for “Small Shen” and “The Legend of Zelda: The Edge and The Light”. I’m also working on a pitch for an original series, which is going well, so we’ll see how things go in the second half of the year!

Small Shen Book Signing: Thanks to everyone who came to the Galaxy Bookshop signing on Tuesday (and brought a copy of “Small Shen”)! The turnout was great, and the signing took an hour and a half – the queue was pretty darned long! But glad that everyone got what they wanted, and thanks so much to Galaxy Books for hosting me and Kylie Chan! Some pics below:
