In case folks missed it, I’m re-posting my 10-page comics-prose story from a while ago. It’s a ‘twisted fairy tale’ take on the story of Peter Pan, and it was originally written for a Peter Pan anthology my friends and I put together.
Here I show it again, for your interest. Next week, meanwhile, I’ll be showing the first 3 chapters of “Small Shen.” I’ll be posting 10 pages every Friday (from 22nd Nov 2013 – 10th Jan 2014) in various places such as on my DeviantArt, Tumblr and my Goodreads Account, so hope you guy who haven’t read the extract will check it out!

Legend of Zelda Fanfiction: The Edge and The Light – Chapter 11
What I’m doing now: My short horror stories are chugging along nicely! I’ve finished “The Man with the Axe in his Back” (23 pages, 4000 words), and I’m close to finishing my novel (It’s going to be around 50,000 words, and darn, I still gotta do lotsa editing). I’m writing these horror stories as a prose story and as a comics-prose story, and right now, I’ve finished the prose version of story 2, “Cassie and Lassie” (3000 words). I’ll post these two stories up here when I’m done, as part of a $5.99 e-book short horror collection. The rest of it will not be posted for free online, though.
Anyway, after Zelda ends, I’ve got a publishing schedule set-up. I’ll be re-posting some of my older work, including “The Dreaming”, and you can see the schedule plan here. My aim is to update every Friday, making it a regular thing, so there’ll be something to read every Friday!
Zelda Fanfiction: Oh my goodness, I can’t believe it’s been a year already. This is the last Zelda chapter, and next week will conclude this story once and for all. I’m afraid I won’t be doing any more fanfiction, since I’ve always done my own original work, so I hope you all had a good time reading this.
This series is still being serialised until November, on DeviantArt, MangaFox, SmackJeeves, Archive Of Our Own, and Tumblr.
Here’s chapter 11 on Tumblr. It’s also on this site, but Tumblr makes it easier to read, so I redirect people there.

For folks who’ve followed this story, thanks so much for your time! This is the end, folks. The Grand Finale. It’s been good while it lasted, and a big high-five to all the Zelda fans who enjoyed this too!
Legend of Zelda Fanfiction: The Edge and The Light – Chapter 10
Got back from the Sunshine Coast, and it was super-fun! I sold some copies of Small Shen and Zelda: The Edge and The Light there, and things have been going quite well. Thanks to all the people who bought some of the books, and remember, the e-book version of Small Shen is on iTunes and Kindle @ $11.99!
What I’m doing now: Started working on “The Man with the Axe in his Back“, and is actually writing another novel (shhh! about that). I’m writing TMWTAIHB as a prose story and as a comics-prose story, which will be an interesting experiment. I’ll post it up here when I’m done, as part of a $5.99 e-book short horror collection. It’ll probably be up when Zelda is done.
As I said last week, I also want to work on series of web articles, titled ‘How to do Comics-Prose.’ I’ve been concentrating on TMWTAIHB first, since I want to use that story as a teaching tool, so I want to finish that story first before I continue writing my guide.
Zelda Fanfiction:Second-last chapter, seriously. This series is still being serialised until November, on DeviantArt, MangaFox, SmackJeeves, Archive Of Our Own, and Tumblr. Only one more chapter left.
Here’s chapter 10 on Tumblr. It’s also on this site, but Tumblr makes it easier to read, so I redirect people there.

Chapter 11 will be the last chapter. Hopefully when that ends, “The Man With The Axe In His Back” will be finished.
Legend of Zelda Fanfiction: The Edge and The Light – Chapter 9
Greetings, all! As usual, Small Shen has been selling great – thanks to all the people who bought the e-book version on iTunes and Kindle @ $11.99! The sales have been surprisingly strong for that, so thanks to all those folks!
What I’m doing next: “The Dreaming” fans rejoice. When “Zelda:TEATL” finishes its run at the end of October, I’ll be working on a collection of short horror stories called “The Man with the Axe in his Back“. I have a backlist of short horror stories to write/draw, and I’ll be working on that and publishing it as a $5.99 e-book on Smashwords when I’m done. I’ll be posting sneak previews up after October.
I also want to work on series of web articles, titled ‘How to do Comics-Prose.’ It’ll be a primer on how to convert a prose story into comics-prose (aka the format of “Zelda: The Edge and The Light” and also “Small Shen”. It’s in the background a bit while I work on my commissions, but once I’m done, they’ll be up and probably collected into an e-book too for $5.99 on Smashwords.
Zelda Fanfiction: Still on-going, but this is the second-last chapter! Anyway, this series is still being serialised until November, on DeviantArt, MangaFox, SmackJeeves, Archive Of Our Own, and Tumblr. Despite the full e-book having been released, I’m sticking faithfully to my release schedule.
Here’s chapter 9 on Tumblr. It’s also on this site, but Tumblr makes it easier to read, so I redirect people there.

Chapter 10 will starts in 2 week’s time, ending 18th October. Hopefully by then I’ll have finished my first shorty horror story, and it will be up online!
