While I’m a comic book artist by trade, I sometimes do graphic design work for other people. Mostly it’s commercial work like logo design or doing flyers , but I also work with other kinds of artists such as musicians. When I collaborate with a musician, the work becomes much more interesting to me since there is another artist with artistic material involved. For that reason, I’ve put my work with musicians into a separate category, not least because my work with some of them go beyond mere graphic design.

The first Twisted Tales single by Yunyu, titled Dorothy, has fimally been released! I show you the FULL music video, which is done by the wonderful animation folks The Commonist. I’ve written a blog post here about Twisted Tales, and my role in shaping the visual side of this music project. There’ll be more songs coming down the pike, so keep your eyes peeled for that in the coming months!

The first Twisted Tales single by Yunyu, titled Dorothy, will be released at the end of this month! Twisted Tales is will finally be up and running soon! I show you the teaser trailer for Dorothy, which is done by the fine animation collective called The Commonist. My own contribution to the art of Dorothy will be up later this monnth, as the launch of the single approaches. The full Dorothy music video will be released then.

This is a collaboration with my long-time friend and musician Yunyu, who I feature on this page as a “Featured Musician“. Her songs can best be described as “morbid pop”, and while I have to keep my work with her on “Twisted Tales” under wraps until January 2012 when the first single will be released, I have some art samples below.
